My uncle P.J. Kelly was killed in a trench in England in 1965. He was 21 years old. From a very young age, I was curious about the men that went to work in England and their stories. I wrote this song "Paddy" as a salute to those wonderful men who built England and sent the money home to support their families. After spending time with some of them, I discovered that their worst pain was lonliness and the hope that they would see their homeland again. Many never did or will, we must never forget them.
