Peter Horan Still Beating Time DVD - A profile of Peter Horan with the music and musicians of South Sligo.

This documentary film was commissioned by Michael Coleman Heritage Centre Ltd and was first shown on RTE2 in December 2003. Peter was at that time a very active musician, his advancing yearsof little consequence to him. In fact, many younger musicians found the pace he set a considerable challenge. He did, indeed, record 2 CDs during this period in a duet partnership with the fiddle player, Gerry Harrington.

In adition to an intimate profile of Peter, the film attempts to distil the essence and spirit of the music of a small locality and its deep roots within the wider community. Since the making of this film, Peter and a number of other contributors have passed away. This DVD edition of the film is dedicated to their memory
