The Carnabys are the youngest ever patrons of Music Venue Trust along with Elbow, Slaves and Frank Turner. Not only are they one of the foremost live bands in the country right now, they also have a view on the fragile nature of the UK live circuit and are unafraid to back it up. Donating all proceeds from their upcoming album to Music Venue Trust; as Billy Bragg says: “The Carnabys realise what is at stake which is why I salute their decision to take a stand in support of the invaluable work the Music Venue Trust is doing to protect live venues for future generations of bands and audiences alike.” Recognised as fine purveyors of raw, powerful rock'n'roll, both in the studio, where they have just completed their second album of high-octane rock action, and in concert: they are described by Debbie Harry “the best support band we have had in years”. Further approbation has come from other artists they have supported, from Alabama Shakes to Palma Violets, Imagine Dragons to Starsailor.
