Willie Nelson is one of the most recognisable figures in country music. With his trademark bandana and his trusty guitar Trigger, he has become the face of Country Music, with a career that now spans seven decades. He is also a founder member of the musical movement that became known as Outlaw Music, a loose group of country artists that wanted to break away from the predominant 'slick' Nashville sound that was becoming prevalent in the 1970's. He is as well known as a songwriter as he is a performer. He wrote his first song at the age of seven, going on to write country classics such as Crazy, Hello Walls and Funny how Time Slips Away, all of which feature on this collection of Willie classics.
